“Lara Gumushdjian, the Director of Sustainability for KIRKOR Architects and Planners will be presenting on the collective input from the Carbon Coalition Conference that took place in the fall of 2024. The conference brought together different levels of government, suppliers, manufacturers, industry associations, private sector professionals (architects, engineers, developers, builders), environmental organizations, and distributers to speak to where we are at present in the embodied carbon journey, where we needs to go, and the steps different stakeholders can and need to take to build up the embodied carbon ecosystem. Lara will take us through a embodied carbon journey speaking to the different parts of that ecosystem and opportunities for all to support increasing the ability of embodied carbon to be brought into decision making.”
